Export outside the E.U.
If you are exporting your vehicle outside the European Union, you do not need to pay VAT. For more information on the export process, we are happy to assist you. We support you in obtaining export documents, the EURO-1 certificate, or export license plates, among other things.
Required Documents
When purchasing a vehicle for export outside the EU, certain requirements must be met. It is necessary to present a valid, original ID. Additionally, full VAT must be paid as a deposit.
The deposit will be refunded once the vehicle has been successfully exported from the EU and registered in the destination country, using the documents we provided.
What documents are needed to receive the deposit refund?
- Export document (MRN number) and, if applicable, an EURO-1 certificate (different rules apply for each country).
- A copy of the vehicle papers (front and back) from a non-EU country.
- A scanned export document (MRN number) from customs as proof that the vehicle has left the EU.
- The invoice for the deposit paid.
Purchase Confirmation
Once you have selected a vehicle and wish to purchase it, please contact us by email. One of our team members will be happy to assist you and guide you through the purchase process.
After confirming the sale, we can request export documents and, if desired, an EURO-1 certificate on your behalf. Additionally, it is possible to apply for export license plates.
Once your vehicle has been registered in the destination country, please send all of the above documents to us by email. Once the documents are complete and submitted on time, your deposit will be refunded to your bank account promptly.
